I’ve been playing around with the motion detection setting on my DBPower EX5000 camera (what I call my Faux Pro). On Saturday afternoon I used my handy-dandy flexible tripod to mount the camera to the bird feeder shepard’s hook. That day I got some decent footage of a woodpecker, goldfinch, red finch, and a starling.
Then on Monday I decided to try it again, but this time I put the camera on the bird bath. I was hoping to get some bathing birds, but I only got a quick clip of a common grackle snagging a drink.
I can’t wait to set it up for the hummingbird feeder once they arrive! The two videos from the last few days are below or you can go to my YouTube channel and check them out there.
