In February one of my BFF’s had her first baby. Since quilting is my newest favorite hobby, I just had to make her a quilt! The nursery is decorated in shades of mint green and lavender, so I used those colors in batik fabrics for the backgrounds of the blocks and then appliqued the critters on each block. It was such a fun quilt to make and I love how it turned out. You can find the pattern at Shiny Happy World along with Craftsy classes and more. These patterns are great for learning and this is the third one I’ve made from Wendi’s collection.
This quilt was made with 100% cotton for the blocks and appliques and backed with lavender Cuddle Fleece.
